It works on Time Domain Reflectometer principle (TDR/Pulse reflection) of measurement the exact fault location for open/broken circuit and short circuit fault, cross fault, earth fault in any metallic power, telecom, signal and power plastic cables. It is compact, light weight and most suitable for field application. It uses state of the art digital technology for precise location offault in underground metallic and plastic cables. The advanced circuitry utilizes high-speed sampling for better resolution of echo-grams. The equipment incorporates a unique feature of automatic placement of measuring cursor at fault point in auto mode. This makes it totally user friendly and any operator having minimum knowledge can successfully locate the fault.
